Chamber Announces Community Awards for 2016

For almost 20 years, a select group of citizens in the Southwest Tulsa Chamber community have been honored for their significant contributions to the quality of life and business climate in and around Southwest Tulsa. It is a veritable “Hall of Fame” and our Annual Community Awards Dinner each January is a celebration of that contribution.

The Southwest Tulsa Chamber announces the following winners for the 2016 slate of Community Awards:

Business of the Year: Evans Enterprises, 2002 Southwest Boulevard and Freeland Brown Pharmacy, 4227 Southwest Boulevard

Southwest Tulsa Spirit: Roy Heim and Lt. Col. George E. Giffin
Jim Close Humanitarian: American Waste Control, Tulsa Christmas Parade and Benefactor to many
Volunteer of the Year: Vicki Scott, PatriotFest Car Show and Peggy Doll Camp, Remembering Westsiders
